Frequently Asked Questions

Clear guidance to your healthcare navigation questions.

What Is Independent Patient Advocacy?

Independent patient advocacy provides patients, caregivers, organizations, and partners with dedicated, objective support completely separate from healthcare institutions and insurance networks. Ross Patient Advocacy LLC works exclusively on behalf of those we serve.

Who Can Utilize Patient Advocacy Services?

Our independent advocacy supports individuals, caregivers, authorized representatives, and professional organizations nationwide.

Is a Consultation Required?

A complimentary consultation is optional. Those who choose to proceed without one must complete the secure intake and intake review process before advocacy services begin.

What Does the Intake Fee Include?

The $300 intake fee covers the comprehensive review of all submitted forms, medical histories, insurance documentation, and relevant case details. Active advocacy intervention is not included in the intake fee.

When Do Advocacy Services Officially Begin?

Formal advocacy services commence once the comprehensive intake review is complete and the patient has purchased a minimum two-hour advocacy package.

How Much Do Advocacy Services Cost?

Advocacy services are billed at a flat rate of $200 per hour. Ongoing advocacy time may be purchased in increments of two hours or more, depending on your case needs.

Can a Caregiver Initiate Contact on Behalf of a Patient?

Yes. Representatives may schedule the initial consultation. However, formal patient consent, legal authorization, or executed healthcare proxy documents must be verified before protected health information is reviewed or active advocacy begins.

Are Services Available in Person?

No. Services are delivered nationwide exclusively through secure telepractice. Virtual medical appointment attendance, case updates, and ongoing patient communication are managed entirely through our encrypted platform.

Where Do Patients Submit Medical Records and Private Information?

To ensure privacy, all medical records, insurance policies, intakes, and sensitive messages must be uploaded directly through the designated secure patient portal rather than the public website.

Do You Accept Health Insurance?

Medicare coverage for eligible patient advocacy services is currently subject to a waitlist. Private-pay services remain available.
